It all depends on how much free time they have obviously, but there is a lot of time taken into making the set, the armatures and characters, and then moving everything a little bit at a time. The way the camera has to move as well to give the impression of the floor moving also takes effort as remembering which way to move and how much to move it must take a lot of concentration. I also love how it isn't just about the animation. There is a purpose to it and a moral message, and it is all delivered in a surreal way.
