I'm sure you realise that the guys who say:

"OOO! Fun!"

who are the butt of the joke in this scene, and not Cleveland himself. I realise the point you're trying to make, but I'm not saying that all references to race are inappropriate; I think that's the mistake people make a lot - it's not a black and white world, (excuse the pun), there are shades of grey.

That's not fair, yes it was an off the cuff remark, not much thought went into it, but it does fit with my interpretation of the expression on his face, and yes, because he's black I wrote it as I did.

Didn't find it funny? I couldn't give a fuck, I'm not here to entertain you, do you judge this competition? No. I prefer mine to a cheap joke about homosexuality or rape, neither of which are even implied in the fucking picture anyway!

Hang on a sec. Someone tell loads of Irish, Neo-Nazi, Anti-semantic, Anti-esablishmment jokes. We get moaned about for calling things Gay but calling Ksro a big fucking JEW seems to pass unnoticed most of the time.

You opinion and satire is always welcome as are your finds on the web. But you often try to force your opinion on us again and again and post the way you want us too. Unfortunatly that will never happen.
But can you try to let silly stereotype based jokes slide? After all, stereotypes drive a huge portion of comedy. Like Peter Kays wedding jokes. It's real life. I imagine the guy in the pic would laugh himself silly over most of these comments.
 
Instead of whinging at people about their lack of imagination and putting things down why don't you do your thing and we will do ours. That way your posts will be the ones that raise the average level if thats how you see it and how you want it. It's a compromise.

I don't have a problem with OP at all. I think the majority his contributions are witty and clever. I apologise if my comment sounded like it was directed at everyone. It was not.

There are plenty of opportunities for humour in this world but some individuals just bring it all back to race and stereotypes. It's tired and unimaginative. There's enough racist bellyaching on Youtube alone to saitiate the entire Internet. I'm not trying to force my opinion on anyone, I'm just expressing it as you are undoubtedly expressing yours; post how you like, it doesn't bother me as much as you think it does.

I commented that Nodd should have closed this compo before he went on holiday simply because it has stagnated considerably; the captions stopped many posts ago. There's no reason to argue anymore than we already have. Judge it, close it, and move on.
