I feel that this is pretty fair, it will give anyone who has been affected time to get over the issue, and as a result (hopefully) not feel any long-standing bitterness towards Lunicks. And obviously, Lunicks hopefully won't feel like an outcast for much longer. Forgiveness and all that...
It possibly was just an error in judgement, or possibly a means of making a statement. Whatever the motive, only Lunicks really knows, we can argue away forever and get no closer to the truth. So that whole issue aside, and contrary to what some have said, a general apology would go a long way, in my opinion at least. It may/may not benefit Lunicks directly, but it will make everyone that was affected by this feel a little better. Isn't that the meaning of
giving an apology?
I hope he does apologise when the opportunity arises. I know I personally would do my best to do so if I had seriously upset/offended anyone on this forum.

This is the most offensive thread (prior to this incident) that I recall on my time on this forum, and I feel this example demonstrates how best to post/link to controversial stuff, giving people the option of whether or not they wish to view it, with sufficient warnings.
As it was, we were all faced with those images, with no choice in the matter, images which I for one will never forget. Plus the fact that they involved a victim, torture, and a death, whereas Mitch and two girls one cup involved willing (if twisted) participants, who survived their shitty ordeals. That's the difference.
I'm wondering where Yali is, as I know she was very upset too...
