I'm just curious as to how many people still enjoy/use the forum arcade flash games. I'm looking at removing it, but don't want to if members still love it.

I would use it more if it weren't so stagnant.
Some of those high-scores are impossible to beat and there's not been a new game added for nearly a decade.

I've actually played on it a few times in the last couple of days. Got a bit annoyed when I managed to beat Yali's highscore on Mumu the first time I played, but when it went to submit it there was some error or something didn't load and it wasn't counted But yeah, any new games would be welcomed I reckon. And maybe the slates could be cleaned once in a whiiiiile.

The trouble is with "new games" is that on this forum software they are very limited it seems. Some of the old classics I tried to install (like the monkey jump/suicide one) wouldn't work, even with a phpbb arcade converting script. The people who make it also just went quiet for ages, only to come back unoticed and now I'm way behind on updates (although there's still no new games! ) I could refresh the scores once a month though.. ?

Refreshing the score will make it more fun to play. like they have said its impossiable to beat some of them.
I would really love a game like the bricks, where u have the little bat and have to remove all the briks with the ball. hehe love that game.

Arkanoid. There is a fantastic top-down version of Arkanoid on the iPod called Vortex. Difficult to explain, so here's a picture: Your bat circles around the play area, rather than moving back and forth at the bottom. Kinda feels like throwing a tennis ball into a garage, except with blocks that you have to break, (some of which circle around also).

I wasn't saying that there aren't more games in like a literal sense. There are more games, but they are awfull crap! I mean, almost unplayable. They haven't released anything new though since I installed SMF, let alone the arcade. There are some fecking terrible games out there with both awful graphics and gameplay. Not worth installing. See for yourself: http://www.smfarcade.info/forum/index.php?action=arcade;sort=name;start=0I tested each game before I uploaded them and removed the awful ones. Thanks for trying to help though
