It's supposedly really good. Everyone I know who has played the demo had a couple of minutes of lag where they didn't realise they had control; the game blends the opening cinematic so well with the actual gameplay it's difficult to tell where one ends and the other begins.

Joystiq has gotten a reply from 2KGames about what's up with widescreen mode in BioShock. Apparently they did the old cheap DVD trick of lopping off the top and bottom portions of the image to make a 4:3 image become widescreen, resulting in widescreen players actually getting less to see than the non-widescreen players. LOL

LOL Hahaha, that is SO typical. The TV channels we get at home do it from time to time, because they promise to be sending in 16:9. Bitchaz.

Its the spiritual successor to System Shock 2, it needs no justification, it is just gaming bliss! I'm buying a new PC just so I can play it on PC Wish Shodan was in it again though, she was one damn cool homicidal AI

I'm making my friend buy it for his 360! It really does look sexy. Sexy and fun. Perfect. How are you getting along with Broken Sword Hudders? I was thinking about it last night when I was in bed. Such an awesome game. Don't give in a read a walkthrough though. Never do that! Even when you think the game must just be broken because you've tried everything! It's a test of will.

i remember playing broken sword on the game boy advance or something. my brother had it. it was incredibly glitchy. items would sometimes not be where i remembered them etc from when i played with you REVOL. you also had to play the game in a certain order so it didnt get you stuck somewhere. this doesnt apply to the PSONE version tho so thats good.

Got Bioshock, Blue Dragon and a 360 Elite yesterday. Bioshock and Blue Dragon are both really nice games! Even though Bioshock gives me a headache and makes my head spin. Has nothing to do with blood and gore on screen, but somehow the movements of the game don't compute with my head. Looks to be something that'll get scary as you move further along in the game. Mark enjoys it a lot

I cracked at the bit with the goat. But since then, no walkthroughs.

I cracked at the bit with the goat. But since then, no walkthroughs. Totally the same. Considering it was about timing, its understandably hard.

i <3 ur rig. why did you choose radeon over nvidia? Yeah that was a hard choice, im a bit of a nvida fanboy, but I did it because of three reasons. 1. The X1950 is a lot faster than most of the nivida cards on offer at the moment 2. Its a damn good price! 3. DX 10.1 will be out in a while so I will get a new one that supports all that anyway, the X1950 is just a stop gap really, lol Of course I have sort of limited my choice a bit by going for a ATI motherboard, but its very hard to future proof against everything.
