Not really an instance, but I think we need to actually organise a group to kill Socrethar if we're going to get anywhere. 

If you want to get anything out of the dirty deed, make sure you are on the appropriate step of the quest chain. For Aldor, this is: Deathblow to the Legion and for Scryers: Turning Point

You don't have to have the quest chain to come, but you won't get any reward if you're not on it.

Thanks to everybody that came and helped do this last night.

Socrethar was downed by Baele, Joran, Sidius, Shaulys and Loonicks with minimal effort.

Then Baele, Joran, Shaulys and Loonicks followed it up by killing Vhel'kur, the big invisible dragon that hangs out on Netherwing ledge. Apparently you need a healer for that... well, we didn't have one but we managed it anyway. At one point I fell off the mountain.
