I think it's a credit to the directors of his movies that they cast him in roles which require him to be wooden and/or socially awkward. In that way, they have allowed him to come off as a far better actor.

We watching this around Wayne-Kerrs many moons ago. I paid £1 for it, which was the best pound I've ever spent, and the night we watched it was the best night of my life. John Candy makes an uncredited appearance in this film  and there are different titles for this film, Hercules in New York is the UK one I think.
