GAH!! just finished watched season 2. firstly FUCKED OFF it was only 11 episodes long. secondly when the hell is season 3 out? Same problem here... have not seen any news about airings on NBC yet ... Will keep looking for date for episode 36... it promises to be nice with you know who having gotten the you know what again |

firstly FUCKED OFF it was only 11 episodes long.
It's not 11 episodes long. VOLUME TWO is eleven episodes long, and VOLUME THREE follows on from it straight away. In America they go on hiatus normally so that their seasons are split into two, (thats why an American season is much longer than a UK series). Plus there's a writer's strike in America at the moment so that is affecting Heroes along with a whole gamut of other shows. Volume Three: Villains will air in 2008. |

Why isnt season 1 season 1+2 then? Why has it jumped to season 2 then 3? There should be 4 seasons!
Unless you mean there are more season 2 episodes to come? Followed by season 3?

You're getting confused between "Volume" and "Season".
If you think back to the last episode of season one, it ends with the first bit of VOLUME two.
I think the reason why season two is being split more decisively into two volumes is because of the writer's strike. It seems logical that they would try and make the best of a bad situation.

The planned split will probably be over the summer where network executives just assume nobody watches TV and therefore just pump out tripe to placate the masses while "normal" people are outside being normal. |
