I try to avoid HMV and Virgin Zavvi as much as possible. £17.99 for a CD!? In this day and age!? Feck off!

I'm the type of person that likes to buy things and follow the nice, legal path. Trouble is that some of the prices are so stupid that it puts me right off. I mean, Black Books series 1,2 and 3. £9.99  You just can't argue with that sort of price. I think I also bought Peep Show series 1-5 for about £30. See? This is good value for money! In the shops, Heroes 1 part 1 and part 2 were like £30 each. That's just insane!

If you read his post, he says an "old" CD. Nowadays CDs are much cheaper, (yes, even in HMV and Zavvi).

Wow. Comparing sitcoms from several years ago with low production values with a big budget series from last year...

£15000 for a Mercedes? Fuck off, I can get a Lada for £300...

I was talking about CD's I had come accross for that price. HMV do the crappy thing of "it's an import CD from america or australia so thats why it's £10 more expensive".

If someone buys it, then HMV are justified in their actions.
