Well i have to say im really sad as my friday nights will not be spent going out they will spent sat down infront of the telly for 9 to see the second season of the tudors.

The first season had me totally hooked, not only does it have a very sexy henry the 8th but the story is great, i never thought id enjoy history so much.

Anyone been watching it?

Well by all accounts Henry the 8th was a sexy beast when he was young so at least they got that right lol.

No I havent seen it, I was put off by the adverts that made it seem a bit too like Eastenders Smiley.

It's the same bloke, Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

Henry didn't get fat until he was quite old. That famous picture of him is mainly padding; until quite late in his life, he could leap onto his horse from a standing start whilst dressed in full armour, (although this may be apocryphal).

Oh right, well im sure there will about 5 or 6 series of tudors cuz the first one was based on his marriage to Catherine and affair to Anne, this one will be about Anne and is it Jane Symore to be the next? so im sre there will a fair few. im loving it. cant wait for tonights haha.

If it's "Tudors" and not "Henry the Eighth", then why did they not start with Henry VII, (Henry Tudor)?

Wasted isnt probably the right term, I think nessecity dictated that he had to be pretty vigilant of anyone getting the same idea as him and taking the throne. Such is the lot of a King in those times.
