I'd love to have some comic strips on the blog. Maybe one a week if we can manage it.

We have atleast 3 members who are VERY talented at this sort of thing, and I would love to have your work on the main site.

Ideally I'd like them to work within the width restrictions of the page (about 470px wide max).

If you are interested, please let me know.

If you want to submit a comic strip, please do so by sending it to me at:

I had an idea about this the other day. I found a website called "pencils at dawn" which is essentially where two artists take a random word every week and each draw their own interpretation of it. The winner is voted for by the people reading them.

I thought we could maybe do something like that.

It does sound great. Probably more of a forum competition thing though.

what I am looking for are comic strips for the site. I've got my first one on paper to kick start it all, I just need to digitise it. I will let you know when its up Smiley

Yeah, I was planning on doing one myself, but I'll need a scanner of sorts, don't I?

Trying to get paintshop to do my bidding so I can start drawing comics again.

Trouble is, they look all geometric when I draw them on the computer; rather than the nice, fluid shapes I've been drawing all over my meeting notes at work. I could scan them, but that takes too long. I'd rather just draw them straight to PC. I'd be able to doodle them at work then, too.

I've got a tablet thank you very much.

If I can find a copy of Illustrator, I'll look into it.
