A question:

Would the guild benefit more from a donation of Primals or from the donation of the gold made from those Primals?

The Primals, because only Nodd can withdraw gold.

I would say primals would be more useful. For example, a priest needs in the region of 12 Primal Water, 10 Primal Mana and 28 Primal Life just to make the three piece Primal Mooncloth set. That amount of farming takes a fair amount of time.
Look at it like this, will people be able to use the gold in the guild bank to buy the primals to craft their high end gear? Not likely.

Well, this is what I'm getting at. I'd like the Primals to be used by the guild.

What I'm worried about is that someone might see a Primal as a way of making a quick buck. Individually they're worth quite a lot so I think I might hold on to them until the new guild bank permissions have been implemented and I can be sure that they'll be going to someone who is actually going to use them.

In the meantime, if you need Primals send a PM or in-game mail. Tell me what you want and what you want it for and I'll see what I can do.

i see what you mean hudders   Smiley

Lunicks, p@ - the gold in the guild bank isn't for me alone. Anything that goes in the bank helps the guild whether it is gold or items. Once enough gold is saved we can get that shiny new tab which we will no doubt need with the new permissions being put in place.

Hudders - I would recommend holding onto any primals you wish to donate for the moment. They are exremely handy and very frustrating or tiresome to aquire (I've had to farm well over 30-50 of them to make my frosted shadoweave set, and that's WITH me even going to the crazy extent of buying a lot of the mats required).

The trouble with putting them in now is that someone could easily stack up 10 of them and sell them for a meaty profit. I'd feel a LOT safer having one tab locked with items such as these where a player has to make a request to use them. Therefore if someone needs 3 primals, then they wont take 10 and sell off the other 7.

Obviously, this is not to say that anyone would sell the stuff, but I'd rather not have the potential there.

That's the core of the issue isn't it?
There's withdrawal limits on how many stacks you can take, and you'd only give high access to people you can trust anyway.
So I just reckon you could just chuck 'em in there, really.

Hmm, I don't see anything wrong with the guild council being requested to distribute them. I mean, if a normal user we don't really know takes out say... 3 stacks of 10 primal water. Thats 900g auction value.

I think the permissions need changing to what I've proposed in a previous topic.

back to hudders first question, i would say sort yourself out first! Then any primals you have that a) you dont need, for example a rogue doesnt really need water, life or mana. and b)you have spare throw them in.

I dont care how there distributed once they go in, lol
