Looking at the guild bank, I realise that we should sort stuff out.
First of all, the low level items are all either white or green crap that no one's going to need. Partly because people find their own gear and that level and gear isn't the most important, and because low level members usually have lower ranks and can't withdraw much anyway.
The recipes that are there aren't going to be useful for anyone, ever. The same goes for the potions and other stuff that's there.
As for the Crafting tab, I feel that the items there aren't up to par with the member's levels. Perhaps we should save it for reagents and items that are 60+. There's a lot of nonsense there as well.
We have 4 of the same enchanting formula that probably costs ~1g on the AH anyway.
I suggest Nodd just sells it all and puts the money in the bank. (either AH or vendor)

As for the High Level tab, the only High Level items I can see are the ones I just put into there myself. The rest of the level range is 21 - 60. I mean, what?

I hope we can sort the guild bank better to benefit more people Smiley

Once again I seem to be agreeing with lunicks, lol. DE(disenchant) all the greens tbh, as most players will find there own or just use quest reward stuff.
And just start seling stuff from there. Smiley

GB should only really have in it crafting mats, rep items (like tomes for scryers, fel arms for aldor and the other shit for CE etc etc) and any nice blues or epics we find. if someone has crafted anything worthwhile (like elixirs/flasks or high end patterns/plans etc) then also stick those in. any greens should be sent to Sid or anyone else with enchanting who needs it leveling up and who could use the mats and only then once theyve maxed out their proffessions should we consider selling mats or keeping em and sticking em in the bank.

i feel like ive repeated myself somewhat within that paragraph but i hope you all understand Smiley

I spend a LOT of time sorting the bank but it seems to be a constant battle with people just putting crap in. lol. I've said many times about people just putting rubbish in there. Unfortunately I haven't been on WoW in 2 days, so that's why it's a little clogged up  (i try to clean it up a bit every day i login).

It does need a majour clean though, I will DE loads of stuff and put them back in as mats. I will also sell some other clutter and put the cash back in the bank.

I think we should save a tab (as buying a new one at the moment is too expensive) purely for enchanting mats. I will put anything in there (below my level - as in.. it wont aid my skill at all - almost everything apart from arcane dust, planar essences, and shards) for guildies to get free mats for enchants.

I think I need to reorganise the tabs, their purpose and permissions. Please feel free to propose a solution if you have a good idea   Smiley

Yesterday I cleared out all the stone that was in the bank.

Also anything on the crafting tab that you can buy from a vendor.

I agree with the "deposit" tab.

EDIT: I also think there is a problem with some members not realising they are allowed to use the bank. Very often I get people ask me "is it OK if I take..." - which, of course it is, provided they have appropriate access permissions. I think we need to do some educating.

Nodd, please don't disenchant the items and put them back as mats.
They're all like level 20 anyway.

Ok I cleared a bit. Some stuff is being auctionned so not all money returning is back in there yet.

There's still more to clear which I will hopefully do over the weekend. After some suggestions I think it will also be better to change the bank layout a little. At the moment this is still in the planning stage, just to see what you think Smiley

Proposed Idea 1
Tab 1: Deposit - No withdrawl rights apart from council +
Tab 2: No deposit - Withdrawl/storage of crafting supplies and rep items
Tab 3: No deposit - Withdrawl/storage of potions, recipes, and bags
Tab 4: No deposit - No withdrawl - (request required) - storage of enchanting materials, rare recipes, max-slot bags (16 +), and other items.

This means stuff goes in tab 1, and gets moved to the relevant tabs. This will help prevent mess but will require more bank sorting. Shouldn't be too bad though. Ensures no "clutter".

Great stuff, have a woo Smiley
Also, it is possible to set a rule of for example "only level 55+ potions and supplies"?
Because I don't think they will be of any use otherwise.

The idea is very good and should be implemented forthwith.

EDIT: My only reservations previously revolved around the fact that people could both deposit and withdraw items from the first, "deposit" tab. Not allowing withdrawals repairs this problem.
