That’s right, how else do you try and get past building regulations and planning permission?
Robert Fidler wanted to build himself a mock-Tudor castle, so he did, behind a 40ft stack of hay bales covered by huge tarpaulins. Once finished, he and his family moved there for four years before revealing it to the public in August 2006.
“Mr Fidler claims that because the building has been there for four years with no objections, it is no longer illegal.”
“After building the castle on the site of two grain silos at a cost of £50,000, he and his wife Linda went to extraordinary lengths to keep it secret. That included keeping their son Harry, now seven, away from playschool the day he was supposed to do a painting of his home in class.”
Oddly, Mrs Fidler stated that “We couldn’t have him drawing a big blue haystack – people might asked questions”.
Better late than never, eh? This is my second attempt at a webcomic!
The idea is a bit of an old one I had. Originally it was going to be a sketch for a series of entries me and Hudders preparing for channel 4. As you can probably tell I didn’t have my nifty graphics tablet this time, resulting in me having to go back to using the trusty old mouse to draw this. I hope you enjoyed it
Another week, another flash animation. This one really was created one day when I was very, very bored. I think I had been ill, the sort of ill where you get really restless yet feel like doing nothing. I probably even felt a little bit like they guy in this flash movie. lol.
So yes, here is to another immature adventure. There will be many more “classics” soon.
The idea behind the website/blog is for a random word to be chosen, they both draw a comic based on it, and somehow they turn it into profit. It’s a little bit like the “Underpants Gnomes” from South Park.
In my youth I experimented a lot with Macromedia Flash. A great piece of software which enabled me to create stupid animations and publish them online, much like the one you are about to see.
This animation was created about 3 to 4 years ago and hosted on a previous version of the Noddegamra website. Now, due to popular demand I have decided to publish them once more and possibly add many new (and improved) flash movies in the future.
If you are as immature as I was then, I really hope you enjoy this spontaneous, animated nonsense.
This is a great old flash movie that I had trouble finding again. It seems like all of the old links/versions of it don’t work anymore, or atleast in the latest version of Flash player. It is hillarious! One of the funniest flash movies I have ever seen. Great work here by threebrain. Enjoy!
